THe ice dispenser in the door won't dispense ice through the chute. I checked the chute for blockage but nothing blocking it. When the button on the door is pressed the door opens and buzzing noise sounds the stops but nothing happens. What is the problem and can it be easily replaced. If so how can I fix it. Theres a panel in front how is it removed to coorect the problem. Thank you in advance for any help

It sounds like a problem with the dispensing motor.

The buzzing is likely the motor trying to turn.

To remove the front trim there is two slots along the bottom edge.

Slide a screwdriver in and pry out then slide the trim up and off.

Does sound like the motor just buzzing. Once the front panel edging is removed there are 4 screws at each corner. Do those screws have to be removed to get at the motor assembly which I assume is behind there. Is there a how to step by step in replacing this motor. Thank you
