Default Ice Dispenser Door Opens with Lightwitch
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TFX25PRYDWW
Age: More than 10 years
It started with the icemaker door opening at random during various times of the day. It now is stuck open and the solenoid is burning hot. Whenever I open the freezer door and just hit the light switch the icemaker door operates.

light switch on -> icemaker door off
light switch off -> icemaker door on

Any guidance is appreciated.
