The ice dispenser door does not fully open anymore. Ice does get dispensed from ice maker to door unit but since the ice dispenser door won't fully open, all the ice gets stuck on inside door. When the door opens, it makes a loud snapping sound. Maybe I need to lubricate the door hinges. The water dispenser works fine though. From researching, I believe that the ice dispenser solenoid maybe broken:

I would remove the front cover off the dispenser and then remove the three screws that hold the control/actuator in place. Inspect the solenoid. You may find it has melted or the spring may be broken. If you have an ohm meter you can unplug the solenoid and check the resistance on the solenoid. It should read relatively low. If it is open - then replace the solenoid. Thank You.
