My Kenmore refrigerator Ice dispenser was leaking water and ice would not come out. So, I took the face trim off to see what was wrong. I found the dispenser door sitting in the funnel where the ice goes into your glass. After inspecting further, I found a plastic hook like piece that I assume holds the pin for the dispenser door broke off. Is their a replacement part for this plastic hook? It looks like the hook is attached to the ice and water plastic housing of the dispenser that sits in the door. I would like to replace? Can someone help !

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have come accross it twice, and the part is not available. What you would need is a new freezer door. Call Whirlpool, and see what they can do for you. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
