Default Ice Dispencer Handle
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: KSRF22DTWH00
Age: More than 10 years

My dear Mother-in-law somehow broke the ice dispencer handle! I had a repair man out but he had the wrong part! I have found some of the parts to replace it on the internet. It's been over two weeks since I have heard from him. Is this something I can do??? Or should I contact him again and tell him I have found some of the parts?

First time here! Looks like a good fourm for help!

thanks for any advice?

If you have given any payment at all to the servicer then you should get him back out.

If you think that you can fix it do it yourself.

Here is a link to your fridge model KSRF22DTWH00.

Question

Hi Sheila,

I called him on Monday, and he said I "told" him the wrong part and that he cannot return it? And that I would have to pay for it!, but now he has ordered the correct part from the same place! I haven't paid him anything. But that he should be here on Friday to fix it!
What should I do?

Most places will take non electrical parts back with no question asked.

Some have a restocking fee.

Find out where he got the part and call them your self and see what there return policy is.

This guy may be trying to make some extra money off of you.

Just got done with the repairman, he came this morning and finished the repair. Total cost was $155.00 parts and labor. I and have the new arm dispencer for the water! He got it from the following place ( FSP ) Appliance Care Products. Anyway I can contact them I try and return it or do I just keep it in case that breaks some day?
