The ice despenser on my Kenmore Elite side by side will not work. The ice maker and water work fine but I am not able to get the ice despenser to work from the door. I dumped the ice out and washed in warm water in case there was just frozen ice stopping it but it still doesn't work.

Are there any sounds coming from the dispenser?

You may a faulty dispenser motor.

No there is no noise coming from the Ice Maker door at all. The model number is 50599003.

You may have a faulty dispenser motor.

Check the wiring and the dispenser motor.

To get access to the door controls there are two slots at the bottom of the trim.

With a flat blade screwdriver pry out to release the bottom and then side the trim up and remove.
