Brand: General Electric
Model Number: tfx25zpbaa
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have ice cubes, crushed ice, and water through the door. It just quit,no noise or anything. It is 9 years old and has worked 100 percent. I think it needs a control panel. Please advise

Default

I ordered and got a circuit board for the ice dispenser. I installed it and it still is dead so I started digging. The top hinge on the freezer door has a cover ,under it is a plug. The female end has a 6 openings, the male end has 5 openings-the sixth position is blank. I checked for voltage on the terminals of the female end of the plug. The 5 that are used-no voltage-the sixth that isnt used had 120 volts a/c? I took the cardboard cover off the back and tried to find a harness with the same wire colors to check for an open or broken wire.I couldnt find it.Do i have to take the top freezer panel off to trace the wires or is ther a junction plug hidden somewhere. Thanks JoeR
