Default Ice on bottom of freezer
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: jrsd209tw
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ice is accumulating on the bottom of the freezer encasing the bread pull out basket. The tray under refrig is dry. I have melted the ice and cleaned it out but then reaccumulates.I suspect outlet for defrosting water is clogged. If you think this is possible can you tell me where to find the outlet so I might unclog it.
Thanks.

You are right the drain is likely plugged.

To locate the drain trough you will have to take the shelves out of the freezer section and remove the back panel.

Clean the trough and then take a piece of firm but flexible wire and run it down through the drain tube.

Then pour a small amount of water in the trough to make sure it drains.

Here is a link to your fridge model jrsd209tw.

I did as suggested. Melted all the ice including a block sitting on the drain. Found this after removing the back. Then found some water in the tray underneath so I hope clogging is now ended.
Thank you again.

I also have the same problem with ice accumulating on the bottom of the freezer. It's not the water lines, but just behind the bin at the bottom, theres a vented area and the water seems to be coming from there. what is in that area that I can get to and fix. Can I get a link to my model as well which is JCD2389GE

What I did was to remove the back, the bottom of which is the vented area. There are about 6 screws, but you only need to remove the bottom ones because the back is flecible. Behind back I found a block of ice and under that block is the opening for water to run off after the defrost cycle. I melted it all with a hair dryer. Check tray under refrig. to see if wate is coming out.
Hope that works!
