Unhappy I need help with my icemaker please
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: rsw2700
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a side-by-side frig. I have replaced the ice-maker and the duel water valve. I have checked the water line running up the back of the frig. and it is fine but no water. the water in the door works. It is like the ice-maker is not calling for water. how do I jump start it. Help I have over 100.00 invested now. and my wife is telling me I should have called a service man. Cope

Try getting it started by manually filling ice maker with water. When it freezes it will dump and should refill with water.

No dont buy another icemaker, double check a thing or two first, take the line that goes to the icemaker off the valve in the back, blow through it is it clear if not your line may be froze and not letting water through, Is there power to the ice maker?? If it is a module type icemaker cross T to H and it should go into harvest
let me know , Im here for ya!!!!
