Unhappy How to replace defrost timer or pcb
Brand: White-Westinghouse
Model Number: RJ525V-R
Age: 1 - 4 years

My top Freezer evaporator coil full of frosted or iced, therefore the cold air cannot pass through the air vent to the fridge. A technican from EX-Electrolex say I need to replace a PCB & it is a common fault for this Model. Is anyone can tell me where I can locate the PCB postion & how to replace? Thanks

It is possible that the board needs to be replace but it could be the heater or the defrost bi-metal.

Did the technician check the fridge or did you just talk to him/her on the phone?

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number is found on a tag with the serial number in the fridge section on the wall.

Because your model is from the UK I do not have the parts breakdown for it but the PCB should be in the control panel in the fridge section.

I bought this from Myer in Melbourne 4 years ago. Do you sell the PCB & how much? Also do you know how to disassembly the contol panel?

Sorry I don't have any information on your fridge.

You will have to go to a locale dealer.

We are in the USA.
