How do I remove the door handles on the GE Side by Side profile model PSS26MG-CCB .

It looks like it should just push up & pop off but it will not budge so there must be something I'm missing.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

There is a locking tab or ring behind the handle.

Slide a small flat blade screwdriver behind the handle.
