Question How to finalize failure of Refridgerator
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 5 - 10 years

Could be older than 10 years....not too sure. It freezes our food in the fridge on the lowest setting and our landlords say they can't do anything about it until it plain doesn't work anymore. I'm sick of wasting food......does anyone know of any tricks(preferably one that won't be obvious) to make this thing not work anymore?

Oh yeah, it's a side by side unit.

Before you shoot it check to see if the damper control is working. The control for the refrigerator is simply a mechanical system of opening or closing vents between the refrigerator and freezer to let in more or less cold air. The vent and damper should be at the top back behind removable panels. close it some for less cold in fridge.
