Wink Hot in Florida and no ICE!?
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: gd5shaxkq02
Age: 1 - 4 years

It is hot in florida and we need ice!!! One day my ice make just stopped. The whirlpool gold side by side water and ice in the door decided to stop filling the ice maker. The water will come out of the door, but the icemaker does not even try to fill. My mother has the exact same fridge so we exchanged parts for the ice maker control on and off switch and the laser eye led, these parts which make my mothers ice maker work fine did nothing to fix our icemaker after a 24 hour trial. Please help if able. almost desperate and afraid to call for repair man and spend $200 and get nowhere.
