Exclamation Help, My Maytag Ice Maker Isn't Working
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: RTT2100DAE
Age: More than 10 years

The tube fill part keeps coming disconnected and the ice container fills with water and then freezes into one solid block of ice and the water in the tube fill is frozen also. The tube fill is not cracked. Do I dare glue it back into place? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any help that you may give me!!!

The fill tube dislodges as it fills with ice caused by the water inlet valve leaking. Check the water inlet valve. Disconnect the line after the valve to see if it's dripping.

Hi, Woodchuck,

You are an absolute doll for answering my help call so quickly! I'll look at the diagram again and go check and see if that inlet valve is leaking!!!! Thank you again!!!
