Default Help!! Freezer Drain Icing Over
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have been having issues with the items in our freezer thawing out. We take off the back panel of the freezer and defrost coils and drain with a heat shrink gun, but within 3-4 days things start to freeze over and warm up again. We thought that maybe the drain was clogged, but I poured boiling water down and it ran freely out the bottom. The drain hole gets ice built up, but only at the top. What can we do next to keep the coils ice-free?
