Default Heat on the middle strip
Model Number: scd25tw
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have an Amana side by side where the strip between the two sides is heating up. I think I need to replace the condenser fan but wanted to confirm if this makes sense, as well as know if there are any other parts I need to swap out at the same time? Thanks for the help.

It is normal for the strip between the two door to be warm. This is to prevent condensation.

If the condenser fan motor is still working there is no need to replace it.

Clean the grating in the back bottom where the fan airflow comes out.
