Default Getting water
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26RLECSC
Age: 1 - 4 years

I can't get water to stop running out of the dispenser. Is there a shut off valve that needs to be replaced? I unsrewed the front panel and inspected. There was noise coming from the valve in the back of the fridge so I pulled that out and ordered the entire part. I replaced the part but water still runs continuously without shutting off. Is there something else I can check? Or another valve that needs replacing? Thanks. Steve.

It sounds like you may have a water pressure problem.

If the water pressure is not at least 20 psi it will not shut the valve at the fridge.

If the water pressure is good then it could be one of the micro switches in the dispenser.

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS26RLECSC.
