Default Getting warm
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 53606200
Age: More than 10 years

My refrigertor & freezer started to get warm. I cleaned the coiles at the bottom, and it started to work again for a week. Then the same thing started to happen again, so I called a repair man. He came out and checked and checked it and said the small fan in the bottom was not turning fast enought and replaced it. That seamed to do the trick. The temp started to drop, it droped to mabout 20 deg. but then it started to go back up. any hints

It sounds like it may be a problem with the electronic control.

It seem that every time the power is removed that the unit will work for a short time and then it will fail again.

Try unplugging the fridge for 20 minute and then plug it in again and see if it works again.

Also check the new fan to see if it running fast enough.

Here is a link to the parts of your fridge model 10653606200.
