Ice and water dispenser don't work. Ice maker continues to make ice. No lights on front dispenser panel.

Reapirman just left - front dispenser board works. Main circuit board works.

Says not getting power into dispenser board black and blue power lines.

Says GE will only give diagnostic computers to "authorized" repairmen and I must call GE.

Please help - could it be a loose connection at the bottom on the refrigerator. I looked there when I thought it might be a clogged water line.

It is found in the fridge section on a tag with the serial number.

hello,
i had similar problem with my GE side by side,and found connector behind lower grill in front of refrigerator below the freezer door the connector had corroded and the power cable in it was broken.I welded it back and it worked for a while,lights in front panel worked and the ice and water dispenser worked.Remove the display panel and check the dispenser solenoid is not rusted out,if so replace it.
