Default No Pressure?

Hello, upon reading this thread, it seems as though my refrigerator also suffers from the line freeze issue. After using a blow dryer to heat the outlet, I was able to dispense water. However, the water is really weak. Would this be a lack of pressure or possibly additional ice that needs to be unfrozen? I noticed that the initial half second or so when dispensing water it does flow out nicely, then it immediately slows down.

After a few days, the line has frozen up again. Just yesterday, we've been having hot weather and I think that unfroze it, but the flow is still weak. Any ideas? Thanks.

It could still have ice blockage causing your problem. Disconnect the line at the bottom of the freezer door and see how the water flow is there. If it's ok then there is some more ice.
You can try slightly raising the temp in the freezer.
One solution I read about was to tape some insulation to the inside of the door where you think the line runs.
Make sure your ice chute door is closing good.

This seems to be a design flaw in some refrigerators.

Woodchuck, thanks for the info. In looking for the line at the bottom, I removed the black protector and saw the line running from under the unit into the freezer door. It looks like there's a blue extender that connects two lines. I'm assuming this is what you're referring to. Is there an easy way to disconnect the lines (or do I just yank it)?
Thanks

If you don't see a threaded fitting It's probably a quick connect where you do some version of push and hold the collar while you pull the line out.
