I have a GE fridge model GSH25JFRF - On Monday the freezer section started making a clicking noise and the water/ice dispenser in the door stopped working. The water/ice dispenser would light up, but the light would blink a few times and then nothing would come out. The ice maker also stopped making ice. The unit also stopped cooling down - the fridge did get cool yesterday afternoon, but later in the day is stopped cooling. I have replaced the units water filter (the manual states this may cause the water/ice dispenser not to work) but nothing has changed. Please help.

It sounds like the mother board in the back of the fridge has failed.

There has been a lot of post with the same thing happening.

I have been tell people to call GE with there symptoms and a lot of people have posted that GE has come out and replaced the mother board at no charge.

I have this model refridge and have just had the same exact thing happen... First the icemaker went and now the compressor doesn't come on- just clicking noises.
GSH25JFRF I have is about 2 years old.
