Default GE Profile - Freezer Coils Frozen
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TPH21PRS
Age: More than 10 years

Found that the coils in the freezer are completely frozen over. Symptom was that the freezer is barely cool (acts like the refrigerator section) and the refrigerator section is warm. How do I determine if its the Defrost Heaters, Defrost Thermostat or the Defrost Control?

Here's a link to trouble shooting site. Check defrost timer then defrost heater and defrost thermostat. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Fix a Refrigerator - ACME HOW TO.com
