Default GE IM6 Ice Maker
Brand: General Electric
Age: Less than 1 year

Hello, General question, maybe you folks have ran across this. I have a customer who has a new ice maker from GE. They were told that the old one (which was a little over 1 year old) went bad. They ordered a new one and it was installed 2 weeks ago. They called me and said it still wasnt working. I looked it over and can find nothing out of the ordinary. When you turn it on, it goes through the power up diagnostics, ie; water fills for 1/2 second but nothing after that. I hate ice makers, they are demon possessed, lol. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

What is the temperature in the freezer?

Can you please supply the model number of the fridge?
