Exclamation GE Icemaker not getting water
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSS22WGPH
Age: 1 - 4 years

My GE side by side gets water through the door at what seems to be an acceptable rate but the icemaker only gets a dribble. I've checked the fill tube and it's clear. I put a multitester on the solenoid for both sides of the water valve and get a continuos reading and vibration when dispensing water in the door, but when I switch on the icemaker the vibration lasts only a half second and the voaltage reading goes to 107.1v and stops almost immediately. I'm guessing I need a new switch but I didn't want to jump the gun since I don't know much about appliances.
