Hello, my name is Vinnie and i have a GE ice maker that wont fill with water. I have been in HVAC for 18 years and have good knowledge of some refrigerators. I thought for sure it was the Double outlet valve which i replaced, however still now water to tray and just a gurgling water sound is heard each time the freezer door is opened. Any ideas?

Make sure that the temperature in the freezer is below 5 degrees.

Check to make sure the switch is on and the arm is down.

With this fridge it may be a faulty motherboard.

If you look under the fridge behind the kick plate there should be a test sheet.

This will tell you how to test the ice maker.
