Push Ice and sometimes it gives it up sometimes the door front light just goes dim and nothing happens. I think the touch panel needs replacement but don't have a wiring diagram to verify if the mother board is actually in control of these ice door functions and ice delivery motor.

Take your ice bin out and see if it's hard or easy to turn the augur. Locate the motor behind the ice bin and see if the motor turns with the ice bin out. Does the light still dim. That motor may be worn out. Part 386 on this diagram. GE PSC23SGRDSS Parts List

I'm pretty sure my problem lies within the touch panel or the solenoid control of the ice door. When I press the trigger for ice the light dims the door opens but the auger motor does not operate. Its erratic, as I wait a few moments and try the procedure again it works just fine. I must have a bad connection or some control device failing within the dispensing circuit. Locating it is difficult without a wiring diagram. Can anyone assist with that?
