Everything except ice auger works. I have replaced control board bought from GE. If I take auger out of freezer and apply 110v it rotates ... door solenoid works. When I press the ice dispenser switch on the door, the light comes on and the dispenser door opens but, the auger or does not turn. no sounds. Please help.

Check the wiring to the auger in freezer.

If you are not getting power to the auger it could be a broken wire or the mother board in the back of the fridge that has a problem.

You will need a meter to check the wiring.

There should be a technician sheet in an envelope behind the kick plate stuck to the bottom of the fridge.

Wondering what the solution was to this one.
I am having a similar problem. Looks like the auger motor is not getting any power. I don't see the light dimming at all, but the flap does not open on the door, the switch solinoid seems to be fine. When I took the wires off of the solinoid switch and put them on the motor, the motor worked find and the door flap opened. This is leading me to believe that the power to the motor is the problem. Checked with a volt meter as well and don't get anything from the wires to the motor.
Not sure what needs to be replaced to take care of the bad power line coming into the auger motor.
