Question GE compressor wiring question
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GTS22KBMBRWW
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a GE top mount frige model number GTS22KBMBRWW that has stopped cooling. Condensor fan runs. Pulled off kick plate and found two wires not connected to compressor. One is orange and the other is white. There are four prongs on the compressor relay with a orange wire already pluged into the upper right prong. The other three dont have any wires attached. Then the overload (relay?) thats sits directly above has two prongs with a black wire attached to the right but nothing attached to the left prong. My question is where do these two wires go? And are the other prongs supposed to be there without wires attached? Please give any and all help possible. I'm having trouble locating a wiring diagram to show me the answer.

kbi, I tried to pull a diagram on the product, put I didn't find one. Parts select might be able to help you on Wensday, these guy's always find schematics. But, your product does have one. They are hiding it for the Tech. One of the best places they hide one is in the front lower kickplate grill panel in the front. Pull it off, and the schematic might be folded up, attached to it. I have been doing this for 30 years, and the all wire them different. If I can be any help to you at all, you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com
