The gaskets are held in place by the liner and screws.

Here is a link to your fridge model TA18R2L.

It is best to remove the door and lay them on a flat surface with the handle hanging over the side.

Remove all the screws.

Install the new gasket.

Put the four corner screws in first and do not over tighten.

Then install the rest of the screw making sure that you do not over tighten.

Before you install the gasket, soak it in hot water in the sink, so it will soften up. Also do not take the whole gasket off at one time. Take all the screws out of the top, and then about 5 screws out of each side, and the pull back the old gasket, so you can put the new one in at the top. Then take all the screws out of each side, and peel down the rest of the old gasket, leaving in the bottom screws. Once you install almost all the screws, except 3 from the bottom on each side. Then take all the bottom screws out of the old one, and install the rest of the gasket. Doing it this way, you insure that the liner doesn't move downward, so when the job is all done the door won't close. If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
