Before you install the gasket, soak it in hot water in the sink, so it will soften up. Also do not take the whole gasket off at one time. Take all the screws out of the top, and then about 5 screws out of each side, and the pull back the old gasket, so you can put the new one in at the top. Then take all the screws out of each side, and peel down the rest of the old gasket, leaving in the bottom screws. Once you install almost all the screws, except 3 from the bottom on each side. Then take all the bottom screws out of the old one, and install the rest of the gasket.
