Woke up this morning to warm fridge and freezer (side by side) and water puddle on the floor...ice melted/drained from ice maker. Pulled back cover off and cleaned coils (were pretty bad)...seems to be cooling now but compressor has a loud humm/buzz when operating. Appreciate any insight...

It sounds like the control may have malfunctioned and when you unplugged it or turned it off to clean the coil it reset itself.

I am not sure what the hum/buzz might be.

Check and make sure it is not a vibration.
