Default Frig is warm but freezer works,
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.74962401
Age: 1 - 4 years

My freezer is working well there is frost up there. My frigerator is warm. I checked all blockage and flushed the drip line. That is clear there. Trying to figure out if it has a bad fan but I can not find it. Not sure if the thermastat is working? What is wrong with it. It is not only 2 years old and do not want to buy another one. Please help. Thanks.

Pull freezer panel off and check if fan is running, may need to activate door switch for this check. Post results.

Default Fan

The fan is not working. I took off the back panelwhich had a big ball of ice in it. I uncovered the fan and it is not moving. I activated the freezer door switch also which turned off the light and the fan still did not come on. Is this a fairly easy replacement?

Test for voltage to the fan motor. If none you probably have a bad defrost thermostat or a broken defrost heater. If voltage, you will need to get a new one.
