.) Is the fan working; fan located in the freezer section
.) If fan is working; is there a build up of frost on the back of the freezer section?
.) If you have a build up of frost, you may have one or more defective defrost components which are 1.) defrost thermostat 2.) defrost heater 3.) defrost timer
.) It is more likely to be the defrost timer that is defective
.) Look in your parts manual and locate the defrost timer. There is a small slottted knob on the defrost timer that you can turn with a slotted screw driver. Turn the knob slowly with a screw driver clockwise until you hear a click and the compressor fan shuts off. Now your frig is in the defrost mode. This will put your frig in the defrost mode for approximately 20-30 minutes. Open the freezer door and listen for the ice making a cracking sound confirming that it is defrosting, if you hear this ice cracking sound, this will confirm that the defrost heater is working. Wait the 20-30 minutes, if the compressor fan does not kick on then this confirms that you have a defective defrost timer. If the defrost timer does not kick the compressor fan back on let your frig derfost fully, then manually turn the slotted knob slowly on the defrost timer clockwise until the compressor fan kicks on. If your freezer and fridge sections are cooling down - replace the defrost timer. Good Luck
