Default Frig and freezer too warm
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26R4AW6
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have the controls set at MAX on my side by side. The frig only gets down to 40 and the freezer only gets down to 20.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Remove freezer back panel and check coils. If completely frosted over, defrost coils with hair dryer and go to Appliance repairs, Appliancehelp, Appliances, repairs to dryers washers dishwashers fridges repairs microwaves ge maytag kenmore frigidaire westinghouse inglis, appliance how to take apart information, purchasing an appliance help, model number help, for fixit info.

No frost on the coils. The fan is running. The coils feel warm to the touch.

You may have a bad overload relay on your compressor, or no voltage to it. Pull back panel and check.
