Default Fridge working, but tripping power in different house
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi, i recently bought a fridge from a mate, that works fine in his house. When i brought it over to my house, when i plug it in it starts cooling or doing what ever it does, and about 15mins later it trips the main power switch in the house. It does this time and time again.

I took it back over to my mates houes and it works fine there. I live in an apartment complex if that helps.

You need to monitor current draw of fridge. May be near the trip limit of breaker. The other house may have a higher breaker limit.
