Question Fridge will not cool down
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a fridge that is 4 years old. Used for 3 years. Sat in storage for 1. Just plugged it in yesterday and it is not getting cold. It is still warm..why? It worked fine when I put it in storage (temp controlled). It sounds like it is running.

It could be a freon leak. Check to see if the condenser fan at the back bottom of fridge is running.
Is the compressor motor near that fan running.
Are the coils warm ,cold or hot.

Question

It is a side by side fridge. I think coils are underneath. Cool to touch. Fan is running.

coils underneath should be warm or warmer. If compressor is running then you have a freon problem. If compressor isn't running could be a starter relay problem.
