Default Fridge warm Freezer cold
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: PSC25psscss
Age: 1 - 4 years

My fridge is just 1.5yrs old, about 8 months ago GE called me and wanted to do a QC audit on my fridge and replace the main board , because I am a GE employee I agreed even though there was nothing wrong with the fridge. Anyway the sent me a new board and scheduled service . In there great wisdom the company sent me the wrong board...typical.. the service man felt bad and sent me one eventually. About a week ago I noticed the fridge being warm 55 degrees and I thought it was because someone had left the door open. Anyway after 2 days of this. I finally called GE and they sent a guy out. He said that it was the Main board and that it may take 2 weeks before it comes in...I told him that I had a spare board that he had sent me several months ago... He told me that the firmware wasn't up to date and I would have to wait for the new one... being very pissed and not believing this for a second I decided to put the board in myself and try to get the fridge working I have 3 children and it is a pain not having one. I replaced the board with mine and still have the same issue. The fridge stays at about 60 and freezer works fine.... I even tried unplugging the unit for a few hours...no lucK I think it is the temperture sensor although not sure where and how to change it...it is $12 part and I know when GE gets around to changing the main board the fridge still isnt going to work and I will be out of luck until they figure it out..... Any ideas
Thanks

Some things to check. Does the fridg. light bulb go off when you close the door, Is the freezer fan working? You have a air damper cover in fridg section. If no air coming in you may have an ice clog there to clear. Also check at the bottom vent for ice.
Some of these models have a motorized damper that can jam shut, look for this too.

Light goes out. the freezer and fan work fine, we unplugged the unit for a good day and didnt get much water not sure what else it could be. There is no airflow into the fridge although the bottom drawer has a quick cool which seems to work fine. how do you remove the back cover to see if it is frozen up??? I tried and it looks to me like you have to remove the slides for the drawers to get it off...

Thanks for the help not sure what to do next.
