My refridgerator stops cooling intermittently. When it does it gets warm When it goes on again it cools well. After it starts again, it may remain working for a week (it has only gone off twice). When I got it to start, the first time occured after I moved it and the second time when I close the refridgerator door.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this kind of problem and how I might troubleshoot it.

There must be a loose wire some where.

Check down by the compressor.

This is something that will be hard to find.

How long does the fridge stay off?
