Default Fridge side (65 degrees), Freezer(0 degrees)
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 10652602100
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello, I have a side by side SIDE-BY-SIDE REFRIGERATOR-
Kenmore Elite Coldspot
Mod. 10652602100
Ser. SM0627174
MFG Date 02/2002
Type 26SSA
Recently the fridge compartment stopped getting cold. The freezer side is still cold and can still produce ice through the ice maker. I can hear what sounds like compressor running but no fan. I bought a thermostat and it reads anywhere between 60-65 degrees for the top portion of the refrigerator. The crisper is still cold.

Check in the freezer section in behind the back panel and see if there is an ice build up.

Check the fan and see if it will run.

If there is an ice build up the freezer is not defrosting.

This can be cause by a faulty heater,bi metal thermostat or the control.
