Hi,

I have Kenmore (253.xxxxxxxx)
I stopped working few months ago. Disconnected it for many days. A tech person come to see this and when plugged in, it started working.
After few months it stopped working again.

Now when I plug this in, lights come on but I don't see comp running....
Also when I open the door (side-by-side) it gives not-so-pleasent smell.

I am planning to open the comp and check the electical connection.
Any suggestion or step by step process will be very helpful

Check all the wiring connection and see if any are loose.

There is an electronic control in the control panel in the fridge section that might be causing the problem.
