Question Fridge makes loud vibrating sound
Brand: Roper
Age: 1 - 4 years

Side by side fridge. Don't have model number handy. Fridge will run fine for a short time and then start making loud noise coming from around the fan. Nothing seems to be loose. We turn the thermostat off then back on and it will run fine for a little while, then the noise starts again. So, continually going back and forth, which is fine, when someone is home. Worry what will happen when I go back to work on Sunday. Can't afford to have a repairman out, my son can fix, if we knew what part is needed. Thanks for any help!!

Is it the fan that is inside the freezer or the one that is down by the compressor?

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number is found on the inside of the fridge section on a tag with the serial number.

The Model number is RS22AQXMQ00 I had the repair man come out and diagnose what was wrong ($55)and he gave me the part number #4381244
Motor Condenser. I went out and bought this for $73.01. It is metal instead of the plastic, but my son can not get the old fan to fit it. The parts place said the fan did not come with the motor. What is up? He also said they no longer install the plastic, obviously since it doesn't last very long!! How can I get a fan for this?
Thank you for your assistance.

Here is a link to your fridge model RS22AQXMQ00.

The fan blade is number 2 on the Unit Parts breakdown.

The part number is PS328936.

The place that you got the new motor should be able to sell you the fan blade also.
