Default Fridge has died
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRT13CRHW1
Age: 1 - 4 years

I bought this fridge from a buddy at work that was getting divorced. It's about 3 years old and looks brand new. I put it in my garage so the kids would not wear the door out on the one in the house during the summer. Anyway, I've had it about a year and it has quit running. The light comes on so there is power to it, but that is all. No fan, no compressor, nothing but the light. I took the bi-metal defrost thing out and am not real sure how to ohm it. I get no reading and read where it needed to be cold to read so I have it in the inside freezer now. Not sure what to do or where to start looking as I am no fridge repairman but do industrial maintenance for a living. If compressor was bad, would the fan still come on? Would the above switch keep the compressor and fan from running? Anyway, anyone have any ideas if this thing is salvageable or not?

Thanks,
Rob

Well, the bimetal thing is OK as after I got it out of the freezer it ohmed out OK. Guess I'll put it back in and try another part.
