I have my fridge thermostat control set to 1 (out of 10) and the freezer set to 4 of 10. The fridge is freezing all my vegetables (dam, no broccoli today) in the crisper. I've cleaned it out and made sure there is nothing blocking the cooling opening.
As a guess I think he thermostat has to be replaced. Can anybody give me any other ideas?

It sounds like the temperature control is faulty.

The temperature control makes the fridge cycle on and off as the set temperature is meet.

If the compressor is not shutting off replace the temperature control.
