Question Fridge & freezer turn on-won't cool
Brand: Other
Model Number: Rm 2804
Age: More than 10 years

Both propane and electric run to this unit but it will not cool. 5th wheel trailer, 1992 NuWa Hitchhiker. Can't find info on this problem. Could it be the cooling unit and if so, you don't show this model # as a valid unit. Need help-trying to live in trailer!

This is likely an absorption unit.

Although I am not overly familiar with these units I do know the chemicals in these unit sometimes separate and the unit will not cool.

If you remove the fridge and turn it upside down and leave it for twenty four hour the chemicals will remix and the unit will work again.

Call a local trailer sales and service retailer and they may be able to help.
