Need some advice. This fridge has been repaired 4 times. 3 under warranty for icemaker problems and once a recall which required replacement of the icemaker and both doors due to seal problems. Today, the freezer and fridge quit working. I unplugged it, took the back off and it was pretty dirty back there so I did a pretty thorough cleaning. I really thought it was shot but after an hour, it has started working again after a total thaw. The icemaker has not kicked in yet. Any idea of what is wrong and if, after all the repairs I've had on this (seems to be a lemon model), it is even worth repairing?

It sounds like the mother board in the back of the fridge is failing.

The mother board is number 801 on the sealed system and mother board breakdown.

You might have a refrigerant leak. Measure the freezer temperature and post. You also might want to pull freezer back panel and check for ice. If incomplete frost pattern, this confirms a leak or worn compressor.
