Default Fridge and freezer quit.
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: phsc39eess5
Age: 1 - 4 years

My side by side pro series quit working today. Both sides got warm. Temps. on both sides were 62 deg. F. as read on the digital readouts in refrigerator. I removed lower panel. Nothing warm. Coil fan off. Compressor silent(like it wasn't even trying to turn on) I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in. Instantly the compressor and fan started working. Coils in the backed warmed up, inside cooled down, but I don't trust it. Anyone have ideas?
Thanks for your time.

Yes, I would replace the overload and relay kit that is attached to the compressor. If you need me you can reach me at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Another thing I thought of after I posted; I grabbed a cold soda at about 2:00, and by 4:30 it was up to 55 deg. Is it possible it went into a defrost cycle and didn't resume cooling? Will the compressor not run for the frige side during defrost? Should I still put in the overload relay kit?

I would still replace the overload and relay kit. The compressor of the fans do not run in the defrost cycle. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
