GE Adora Model # DTS18ICRERBB

Purchased new in September 2004.

I normally set the fridge and freezer setting at 6, but sometimes in the summer I increase both to 7.

Recently I noticed some frost forming on the back of the freezer, and the fridge not quite as cold as it should be. I unplugged the fridge, and defrosted it manually. I also took the back off and vacuumed out the dust accumulation. Unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Pull back panel of freezer and check frost pattern. If entirely frosted you will need to defrost and check defrost thermostat. Post results.
