Default Fridge/Freezer not cool enough, compressor hot to touch
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FPE-21THH-O
Age: 5 - 10 years

Top down refridgerator.
Both freezer and fridge not cold enough. Ice melting in freezer.
No frost in freezer and fridge.
Compressor hot to touch. No fans just coils in the back of the refridgerator.

I replaced the defrost timer but doesn't seem to help at all (I'm not even sure if I
got the correct part or not).

Please help,
Thank you.

No way, he has cooling now, just not cold enough.
Make sure the compressor is running, then pull out back panel in freezer and tell us what you see, if partial frost=system problems, maybe bad compressor, bad freon leak or clogged capilary, all expensive repairs.
