Our freezer is not freezing anything, and the fridge is not cold enough. It seems that there is not enough airflow into the fridge. We took the back off the freezer and noticed a small amount of ice buildup on the corner by the thermostat, we checked the defrost and it works, cleaned the coils and everything else, but when it starts back up it will not get cold enough,the temp in the freezer is around 42 and in the fridge is around 50-55. Could there be an airflow problem? My husband thinks maybe we need a new thermostat. Thank You

It sounds like there may be a leak in the sealed system.

If there is not a full frost pattern on the coil in the freezer you should have some one in to service it.

Check in your owners manual for the warranty on the sealed system.

Call Sears Parts and Service and they should be able to tell you the warranty on the fridge.
