Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: HSS251FMBWW

Fridge/Freezer wont freeze or cool after storm blew main ground from line to house, also blew fuse and motor to washing machine and computer. How do I know if the compressoror control board is bad or neither on the fridge/freezer?

Can you please verify your model number?

If there is a control board behind a panel on the back of the fridge you will likely see damage to the board.

Check to see it you are getting voltage to the board.

The wiring diagram should be in an envelope behind the kick plate stuck to the bottom of the fridge.
