Default Fridge and freezer both warm, can't get to timer
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 1 - 4 years

In the last 10 days I've noticed freezer burn on all the items in the freezer. Last night everything started defrosting and everything is completely thawed. Huge puddle on the floor, and now the fridge is warm, like 55 degrees. Tried finding the defrost timer and can't, and unsure how to get to the compressor. The manuel we have for the fridge/freezer isn't helping much. So, my two questions are, what's wrong (we're guessing defrost timer, but since we can't get to it...) and 2. how to get to the timer, compressor, and fans to check it out.

Thanks to anyone who can help!
